      Delta Native Dies at Village Green
      James A. Watson, aged 78 years, died at the home of his daughter Mrs. R. Omar Howard, at Village Green, near Oxford, Tuesday, April 10, after a month's illness.
      Mr. Watson was born at Delta, where he resided for a long time, but for the past twenty years had made his home with his daughter at Village Green.
      He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. R. Omer Howard, Village Green; Mrs. John McKinley, Chelsea; Mrs. J. Gilpin Taylor, Tyson Heights, and Miss Reba Watson, Chester; two sons: Thomas R. Watson, Delta, and James A. Watson, Jr., of Arkansas; also seventeen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
      Funeral services will be held at the Bryansville Evangelical Church at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. John L. Norris has charge of the funeraly arrangements.
