  • Notes  Married:
    • On Saturday Oct 24 1914 the home of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker of Cooper, Md. was the scene of a pretty, but quiet wedding when their eldest daughter Miss Mary E. was united in marriage to Mr. Ellsworth W. Atkins of Whiteford, Md. Promptly at 7-30 p.m., the wedding march was struck up by Mr. George Grant and the bridal pair entered the parlor, and ‘neath an arch of Autumn leaves were made man and wife by Rev. I.C. Bailey of Bryansville. The bride was neatly attired in white Chiffon silk and the groom work black. Only relatives and a few immediate friends were present. After congratulations refreshments were served and a roaring serenaded followed.
The bride was the recipient of many pretty and useful presents.
After a brief visit to Baltimore they will be home in Whiteford, Md.
The best wishes of a host of friends follow them to their new home.
