Archives that mentions a John Lisby at (c) which stood for Christ Church Parish - Calvert Co. In Calvert Co. information xeroxed by Yvonne Miller in her research during visit to Calvert Co., mentioned on pg. 119 about a Christ Church located on Broomes Island Road (Rt. 764) dates from 1672. The present structure was built 1772 & remodeled 1906. The church features a garden of biblical plants & a one-room schoolhouse.
