      Killed While Breaking a Colt
      Westminster, July 13. Conrad Bolte, a young farmer, living in Hamstead district, this county, met with a fatal accident on Saturday. Hew was breaking a colt when the bridle bit broke, and the colt threw him. In falling he struck his head with great violence against the stone wall of the stable, fracturing his skull, and causing other injuries, from which he died in about three hours after the accident. He leaves a wife and several small children.
